BATMAN VS SUPERMAN Production Budget Set At $131 Million
Michigan Film Office PR Manager Michelle Grinnell said in a recent statement that Zack Snyder‘s Batman vs. Superman has the largest production budget ever for the state, sitting at $131 million.
Keep in mind that is only the production budget; it does not include promotional costs, post-production, editing, etc. The previous record-holder for the state was Disney’s Oz: The Great And Powerful. The movie is expected to bring in an estimated $5 million in revenue for the state and create about 6,000 jobs.
Batman vs. Superman (Man of Steel 2) stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Lawrence Fishburne, Gal Gadot, and Diane Lane. It releases on July 17, 2015.
